The South African Flower Union

S.A.F.U is dedicated to promoting floral excellence, sustainability, and collaboration across South Africa’s flower industry.

Our website serves as a hub for members, partners, and the public to learn about our initiatives, access resources, and celebrate the beauty and cultural importance of flowers in South Africa.

This site will also share educational happenings, demonstrations and shows occurring in South Africa and keep you up to date with what is happening within S.A.F.U. and other floral art organisations worldwide.

About Us

The South African Flower Union was established in October 1991. It is the national body for the flower unions/associations of the Republic of South Africa.

There are eight affiliated provincial floral art unions/associations. Under the umbrella of the national body, there are national and provincial panels for floral art judges, demonstrators and teachers.

S.A.F.U. is a founding member of W.A.F.A. (World Association of Floral Artists).
